I stumbled across a photograph of Doris while looking through the Pembroke Records archives. A Google search brought me here. She must have been a fabulous scholar and I'm interested in doing some writing about her, especially as to her contributions to school psychology and curriculum design for learning disabilities. I've attached a photo from The Pembroke Record, I believe from 1942. She was chairman of the "War Stamps" committee.

I started working with your mother way back in 1966 and remember how very helpful - and "on target" she was for all our time together. She was a very bright and caring person and I am sure you have many special memories of how important she was in your lives as well.

I was very sorry to hear about your mother. My parents (Frank & Betty Bingham) were very good friends with your parents and my brother Peter went to school with Alison. I saw Doris about 2 years ago when Dickie Kay invited her and my family to lunch. My deepest sympathy to you.
