Edward Doyle Obituary
Edward Doyle, Jr. of Yonkers died on Friday, June 1, 2012 at age 47. Born on July 24, 1964 to Edward and Linda (Collins) Doyle in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Gorton, High School. Mr. Doyle was President of Local # 456 Teamsters in Elmsford since 2003. Prior to that he was Business Agent for fifteen years. He is survived by his parents Edward, Sr. and Linda Doyle; his five children; Edward John Doyle, Nicholas Edward Doyle, Michael Edward Doyle, Xavier Edward Otero and Edward John Otero, his brother Scott Doyle of Elmsford and two sisters Carol (Dominick) Cassanelli of Yonkers and Kimberly Sansevere of Yonkers, his nephew Dominick, Jr. and three nieces Marissa, Victoria and Ashley. He is also survived by his uncle Bernard E. (Jean) Doyle and his Aunt, Joan Graff. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on both Sunday and Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be in St. Anthony's Church on Tuesday, June 5th at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Edward and Mary Doyle Foundation, 258 Saw Mill River Road, Elmsford, N.Y. 10523.

I just found out for the first time that Eddie Doyle Jr. died this morning, it's Monday June 4, 2012, at 8:53 am.
Eddie Doyle Jr. and my brother Frank D'Amico Jr. were best friends, like brothers.
When I found out that Eddie Jr. died on June 1, 2012, and he was only 47-years-old, I couldn't believe what I was hearing because my brother Frank D'Amico Jr. died on the same day June 1, 2008, when he was 52-years-old. They died on the same day.
I am saddened today by the death of Eddie Jr..
