EDWARD TROTTA Obituary

Edward J. Trotta died November 27, 1999 at the Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Marie Contrata Trotta and lived at 121 Rt. 39 S. in Sherman, CT. Mr. Trotta was born in New Rochelle, NY February 26, 1935, son of the late James and Elda Kurkin Trotta and graduated from New York schools. He was a Navy and Air Force Veteran of Vietnam. Mr. Trotta was an Electrician with Union Local 501 in White Plains for over 40 years and retired in 1995. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Sherman and the Local #501 Electrician Union Mr. Trotta was active in Little League and coached the New Rochelle Giants Football Team. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Rick and daughter-in-law, Michelle of Waterbury, CT; daughter, Jacki and son-in-law, Kevin Flynn of Rye, NY and Andrea Trotta of Sherman, CT; his brother, James of New Fairfield, CT and grandchildren, Brittany, Pasquale, Vassilissa, Romina and Giovanni; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am at Saint Mary Church in Bethel, CT. Burial will be in Saint Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Rd., Wilton, CT 06897-2523.
