Francesco Miele Obituary
Francesco Miele, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on July 17, 2015. He was 90.
Francesco was born on January 6, 1925 in Andretta, Italy to the late Francesco and Vincenza (Pennetta) Miele.
He was a landscape Gardner who owned his own business for over 20 years. He was also a custodian at the New School in Manhattan.
He is survived by his wife the former Teresina Cianciulli whom he married on October 11, 1951; his children Vincenza "Lina" (Pasquale) Pennella, Augustino (Mary) Miele, Pasquale (Rosie) Miele, Gerardo Miele; his 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and his brother Augustino.
Visiting will be Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A Mass at St. Joseph's Church will be held on Monday 10:00am. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Chester NY.

We have so many wonderful memories of Ciccillo and we will miss him very much. He was a wonderful friend and always had a smile on his face. He was always very generous and we especially remember his wonderful garden. We would look forward to the tomatoes, basil and especially homemade wine and figs, that he would give us every year. We pray for Mrs. Miele and all the children and family. We ask God to give you strength and courage to help you through this sad time. We wish we could be there to comfort you but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. With our deepest sympathy
