Fred Albert Soeder, 83, beloved husband, father, son, friend, & grandfather, of Pearl River, died on Sun., April 19, 2015 after a long illness. Mr. Soeder was born on March 6, 1932 in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, NY to Rose (Koenig) and Frederick Soeder. He served in U.S. Army where he worked on security issues for army bases throughout the United States and Europe. Mr. Soeder married Margaret Schecker, in Brooklyn on October 2, 1954. Mr. Soeder's professional career was as a Marketing Representative in South Carolina with Westinghouse. When he returned to New York, he began a long as a Sales and Marketing Representative in the pharmaceutical and medical industries, working for companies such Meade Johnson, Medical Economics (Physician Desk Reference) and Dental Economics. Mr. Soeder was a long-time parishioner of Saint Aedan's Church in Pearl River, NY.

Fred is survived by his wife at home; children, Kenneth Soeder & his partner Anne Esposito of Haddam, CT, Richard Soeder & his wife Connie of Nyack, NY & his daughter Elaine Moore & her husband Terrance of Goshen, NY; his grandchildren, Kaitlin & Terrance Moore, of New York City, Kristen & Eric Soeder, of Nyack, and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Pavelock Soeder of Nantucket, MA; numerous nieces & nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Aedan's Church in Pearl River, NY on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 7th Floor, 322 Eight Avenue, New York, NY 10001. www.applebee-mcphillips.com
