George Shaw Obituary

Shaw, George "Alf"

George "Alf" Shaw of Round Lake, NY and originally from White Plains, NY, died Sunday after a short illness and surrounded by his family. George was a United States Army veteran based in Europe during the early 1970s where his daughter Kelly was born. He worked for General Electric for most of his career in the Saratoga. NY vicinity.

George is survived by his wife Marlene, daughter Kelly Shaw, grandson Hunter, both of Round Lake, NY, his brother Donald, sister-in-law Marianne (Gambelli) and his two nieces Erica and Alexandra Shaw of Briarcliff, NY.

A viewing will be held at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home in Mechanicville N.Y. Thursday, February 6th from 4-8 PM. The funeral will follow a service Friday morning, February 7th. George will be buried in the Saratoga National Cemetery in Saratoga, NY.
