GIOVANNI PARRINELLO Obituary

Mr. Giovanni Parrinello was born in 1910 and immigrated to the United States in 1962 from San Fili, Italy. He lived in Port Chester, NY for the past 44 years. Giovanni was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester. Giovanni will be remembered as a family man who was adored by all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a respected barber for almost 70 years. Giovanni is survived by his son, Pietro and his wife, Doris, of Selden, NY; and his two daughters: Raffaela Chiappetta and her husband, Frank and Rosetta Gaudio and her husband, Santino, of Rye, NY; and a son in law, Roberto Gnisci, of San Lucido, Italy. Giovanni is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Family members who died earlier include his wife of 71 years, Serina, daughters: Rosa Adua Parrinello and Celestina Gnisci. He was also predeceased by two brothers: Natale and Eugenio. Friends and family may pay their respect between the hours of 6pm to 9pm on Saturday and between the hours of 5pm to 9pm on Sunday at Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY. The Funeral is at 10am at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester on Monday, August 7th. Internment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook, NY.
