GLADYS MAE FARRELL

FARRELL, GLADYS MAEGladys Mae Farrell, a resident of 51 Prospect Street, Brewster, NY, died Saturday, July 2, 2005 at her home at the age of 92 years.She was born October 10, 1912 in Brewster, NY, the daughter of the late Harry G. and Ella Cole Buck.Gladys was a resident of Brewster her entire life and was a graduate of Brewster High School. She was a member of St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church, Brewster, and was also a member of the St. Lawrence O'Toole Senior Citizens.Gladys had worked at the St. Lawrence O'Toole Rectory for 21 years.Her beloved husband, John Edward Farrell, Jr., predeceased Gladys. Her brother, Robert Buck, and her sister, Hazel Millar, also predeceased her.She is survived by her seven children, Mary (Jack) Dingee of Kent, CT, Edward (Margaret) Farrell of Signal Mountain, TN, Richard (Pat) Farrell of Harrisonburg, VA, Joan (Ed) Weston of Ritchfield, CT, Gladys (Mike) Halloran of Northville, NY, Nancy (Malcom) Beal of Hopewell Junction, NY, John (Ann Marie) Farrell III, of Brewster, NY; her daughter-in-law, Alma Hale-Cooper of Harrisonburg, VA; her sis- ters, Roberta Barber and Mildred Collins of Brewster, NY; her aide and companion for the past three years, Gladys Gyasi; 33 grandchildren, 46 great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren .Gladys was blessed to leave this world with all of her more than 100 descen- dants and their spouses still living. Funeral Mass will be cele- brated Wednesday, 10 am, at St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church, Brewster, NY. Interment will follow at Milltown Rural Cemetery, Brewster.Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY, Tuesday 2-4 pm, and 7-9 pm.In lieu of flowers, memori- al contributions in her name to Hospice Care of Westchester/Putnam, 100 S.
