So sorry to learn of Ed Vreeland's passing. He was truly one of a kind - a teacher who could make class fun and still teach the subject perfectly. He was a good, fair man and he will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Vreeland's passing. As a graduate ( 1970 ) of JFK I was fortunate to know him for the 4 years there and afterwards, occasionally seeing him at the Brewster Soda and Beer distributors on Rt 6. He was a great man - tough but fair ( at least to me!! ).

Ed Vreeland was my very favorite teacher at St. Mary's, or probably in my life - he provided excellent guidance when it was really needed, was fair and always kind. May God bless his memory and give comfort to his family.
