JACK WEINER Obituary

Jack was born in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and City College as an Electrical Engineer. Jack worked for Electronic Devices, Inc., in Yonkers, for 50 years, working his way up from a technician to President of the company. Prior to retirement in 2001, he worked for San Rex Corp., Long Island. Jack traveled extensively all over the world. He and a group of his friends took many classes at the Culinary Institute, and enjoyed preparing gourmet meals for family and friends. Jack's favorite activity was spending time with his family wife of 53 years, Cookie (Arline), daughters Terri Canziani and Marcy Hill, three granddaughters, and sons-in-law Vince and Bob. Other surviving relatives include sister, Dorothy Weinstein and brother-in- law, Marvin, as well as numerous, loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Funeral services will be held at today, Monday, October 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM at New City Jewish Center, Old Schoolhouse Road, New City, NY. Interment to follow at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Memorial Contributions in Jack's memory should be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
