James Voce Obituary
Congers - James Michael Voce of Congers, NY, 54 years old, passed away on April 26, 2021. James was a lifelong resident of Congers. He was born on May 13, 1966 to Joyce and Frank Voce. He graduated from Clarkstown High School North. James also attended Sullivan County Community College. James was a 4th degree knight with the Knights of Columbus #7104 of Congers, NY. James was employed by the Clarkstown Highway Department. He enjoyed fishing, working out at the gym and spending time with his family and friends who he loved very much. His greatest joys came from his kindness and giving to others. He also enjoyed cooking especially for his mother Joyce, his Irish rose. He is survived by his mother Joyce, brothers Frank (Pat), Greg (Christy) He also survived by his niece Carley, nephews Frank, Christopher, and Gregory. He was predeceased by his loving father Frank William (Bill). His sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-7pm Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10am, at St. Paul's Church, Congers, followed by interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake Congers, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Reps For Responders 4 Foltim Way, Congers, NY10920.
