The Edwards are such a huge part of my childhood and adulthood on Block Island. It is not so rare but always special when parents and children are all friends. I always remember Mr. Edwards as direct, but not too serious, skeptical of our actions but also encouraging of our fun!! I am so very sorry to miss the services - truly. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and I'm smiling at all the great memories our families have shared. The McIntyre's all send their love!!! Love to Helen, Susan, Eileen and Carolyn.

We will miss Uncle Jerry. We appreciate his wisdom, forthrightness, wit, and generosity. Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Helen and family. We are grateful to be part of the wonderful Edwards clan.

The best grandfather a granddaughter could ever ask for.

Able to always impart sage advice, Jerry was the voice of reason. He did it with a quick and dry wit, and with heart. I am quite certain he really did know all of the times Carolyn and I stealthily visited your house when we should have been at school. I loved spending time with him, your Mom and whole family. You are among the most genuine people I've had the pleasure to have in my life. I love you all and hope that you can feel my arms around you right now. With love, Maura Cousins
