JOAN LOWMAN Obituary

Joan Lowman of Larchmont died October 8th at Calvary Hospital. She was born in MA to Irene and Pasquale (Patsy) D'Agostino of NYC. Her father founded D'Agostino Brothers. She was a graduate of Penn. State and Mills Teachers Colleges. She met her husband, Walter N. Lowman at Penn State. They were married in 1959. She is survived by her husband, their son, Scott and his wife, Angela Lauria and their daughter, Melissa Lowman Callaway and her husband, Edward; by three adored grandchildren: Elizabeth, Caleb and Andrew; a sister, Patricia Foley, of New Rochelle; a brother, Stephen D'Agostino of Williamsburg, VA and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. For many years, Joan was the Permanent Substitute Teacher at the Murray Ave. School. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to her dear St. Therese of Lisieux through the Society of the Little Flower, 1313 Frontage Rd., Darien, IL 60561; or the Padre Pio Shelter, POB 55, Larchmont, NY 10538. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sts. John & Paul Church, 280 Weaver St., Larchmont on October 19, 2002 at 10:00 AM. Her family said: "God bless Joan; she will always be a wonderful mother, grandmother and wife!"
