JOHN BLUME

John Blume sadly on May 15, 2003 after a long illness. He was 59. John was born in Port Chester on March 11, 1944. A Vietnam Veteran, he served as a Medic at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington D.C. John was a local contractor, builder and painter. He was the cherished sweetheart of 18 years of Gigi Rothweiler, devoted father of Jason Blume, Cody Blume and Chrissy Rothweiler and devoted son of Elizabeth (Rainaldi) and the late Thomas Sofia. Loving brother of Jackie Colangelo and proud uncle to Donna LoScalzo and Barbara Garrity. John was also a loving great-uncle of seven. Reposing Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at COXE & GRAZIANO Funeral Home, 767 East Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass Monday 11 AM at St. Vito RC Church. Committal will be private. Donations to the American Cancer Society, Westchester, NY.
