JOHN CAIXEIRO Obituary

CAIXEIRO, JOHN M.John M. Caixeiro, a 40 year resident of the Bronx, NY, formerly of No. White Plains, NY, died on December 24, 2004. He was 71. Born December 3, 1933 in White Plains, NY to the late Antonio M. Caixeiro and Erminia Morgado Caixeiro. He was married on May 6, 1961 to Geraldine Patierno in St. Anthony Church, Bronx, NY. He was employed as a Construction Laborer at James A. Jennings Construction Co. in Mamaroneck, NY. He is survived by two children: a daughter, Geraldine P. Napoli, East Brunswick, NJ and a son, John J. Caixeiro, Jr., Las Vegas, NV. A grandson and "best friend", James M. Napoli. He is also survived by two brothers: Arthur Cacherio of California and Anthony Cacherio of Las Vegas, NV and three sisters: Bresida Zaborney of Florida; Irene Lake of No. White Plains, NY and Arlene Corda of Ossining, NY. He is predeceased by his wife, Geraldine Patierno Caixeiro, who died in January 2000. He is also predeceased by two brothers: Joaquim Caixeiro and Joseph Cacherio and four sisters: Maria Leonetti, Catherine Soriano, Enzara Talia and Elmiria Caixeiro. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in White Plains, NY and a 50 year member of the Laborers International Union of No. America Local 235. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Church, Bronx, NY. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Wednesday, 11 am, at Holy Name of Jesus Church.
