JOHN OZANIAN Obituary

OZANIAN, JOHNJohn Ozanian, 97, of Hawthorne, NY, died on April 12, 2005 at Somers Manor Nursing Home in Somers, NY. He was born on October 15, 1907 to Herant and Kenovaphe (nee Ketanedjian) Ozanian in Armenia. John was a Portrait Artist and a survivor of the Armenian Massacre. He was a retired Photo Engraver in NYC. John was predeceased by his wife Angelina (nee D'Ambrosio) Ozanian in 1999. He is survived by one son Robert Ozanian of Westport, CT and two daughters: Patricia Rowland of Greensboro, NC and Catherine Coccaro and her husband Albert of Mt. Kisco, NY. Also survived by six grandchildren: Rob Ozanian, Todd Ozanian, Joseph Cedrone, John Cedrone, Jill Coccaro and Dean Coccaro. Visiting at the Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday 2-5 pm. Funeral Service, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY on Monday, 10 am. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hawthorne Fire Co. EMS, P.O.
