JOHN J. PILEGGI M.D.

John Joseph Pileggi, MD a resident of Chappaqua and formerly of Ossining died Saturday January 29, 2011. Dr. Pileggi was born in Ossining on March 19, 1919 and was the son of John and Philomena (Minetti) Pileggi. He was 91. Dr. Pileggi was a graduate of Ossining High School in 1937 and was the Valedictorian. He then graduated from Fordham University in 1941 and Georgetown Medical School in Washington, DC in 1944. Dr. Pileggi was a radiologist in Ossining for many years. He was a practicing radiologist in many community hospitals in Westchester. Dr. Peleggi is survived by his wife Nancy Hilliker; his children John, Richard, Barbara Midgel, Elizabeth, and David; his brother Dr. Philip Pileggi and Robert.
