I'm so sorry for your loss. May memories of John bring a smile. I was his trail maintenance assistant for a few years on the Appalachian Trail, and always enjoyed his company, his jokes, his ready laugh and smile.

Bummer about John. All of his friends at Westchester Trails mourn his passing. Enjoyed hiking with him. Also usually saw him at the Somers Lions Club Track meet on the first weekend of May when I was there with my track team from Croton-Harmon.
Prayers with all the family.
