John Suppa Obituary
John J. Suppa passed away on Friday June 24, 2016. He was 85 years old.
John worked as a plumber for the Port Chester-Rye school district. He was a member of the Port Chester Old Timers. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society and choir at Corpus Christi Church. He was born in Port Chester on October 17, 1930 to Joseph and Rose Catalano Suppa. He was educated in Port Chester and graduated from Port Chester High School in 1949.
Mr. Suppa will be remembered as the best friend that you could have. John will also be remembered as a loyal member of the Father Alfonso Boy's club and football team. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants football team and the New York Yankees.
He is survived by brother Det. Joseph Suppa (Nanette), sister Lucille Treglia (Anthony), Nancy Esposito life partner, sons David and Darren, 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family calling hours are 8:30 to 10 am at Joseph Tutera Funeral Home. Funeral mass to be held at Corpus Christi Church at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary's cemetery, Rye Brook. In lieu flowers, friends may send memorial donations to Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
