JOHN E. WAZOLEK

John E. Wazolek, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died on Monday, January 9, 2006. He was 93. Mr. Wazolek attended local schools. He worked for Levine Brothers Iron Works for over 35 years, retiring in 1977. He was a hard worker and always helpful and giving to everyone. John was also known for growing great tomatoes which he shared with many. Beloved husband of the late Bertha Wazolek (nee Belik). Devoted father of Robert Wszolek of Wilmington, NC, Thomas Wszolek of LaGrange, NY and James Wazolek of Sarasota, FL. Dear brother of Ted Wszolek of Yonkers. He is also survived by grandsons, James, Jonathan and Robert; granddaughter, Angela, and several nieces and nephews. Visiting will be Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Duchynski-Cherko F.H. Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 13, 2006, at St. Casimir's Church, at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
