Joseph D'Amico Obituary
Joseph J. D'Amico ( Joe D )entered eternal rest with his loving family by his side on March 24, 2017. He was born August 3, 1946 to loving parents, Agnes and Salvatore. Joe D. proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1966-1972. From 1980-1997 he owned and operated The Old Fashion Chop House Tavern in Nyack, NY. From 1990-to present, Joe owned and operated TBT Limousine Service with his long-time business partner and best friend Gloria Arlotta. Joe D is survived by his loving wife Maryann, son Salvatore (Lucy Costa), daughter Anne D'Amico (Aaron Lefton), and the loves of his life, his grandsons, Elijah and Gabriel Lefton. He is also survived by his sister Kathleen LeFebvre and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joe D. was an avid Yankees fan who loved watching westerns and classic movies, and spending time with those he loves, especially his daughter and grandsons. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017, 10 am at St. Ann's Church 16 Jefferson St. Nyack, NY followed by a party celebrating the life of Joe D. at Karma Restaurant, 100 Main St. Nyack, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joe's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

i was so very sorry to hear of Joe's death. As with many others, over time you lose contact with dear friends. And Joe was a dear friend to many of us. He was always there to help and offer support when you needed a hand. Both he and Maryann were very giving. My sincere condolences to Maryann and his family. Joe will never be forgotten.

So sorry to hear about Joe's passing. We went to high school together way back when. I also dated him for a little while. He was a great guy and I'm in shock. My condolences to his family.

Very,very sad news. Although the years had drifted us apart he was one of my best friends through the 60s and 70s. We shared fishing, partying, yankee games and lots of good times together, I will keep fond memories. He was a good man and a great friend. I always hoped he would go fishing with me again.
