I met Joe & Barbara through my son-in-law Ray Malzo. I will always remember how graciously they welcomed me and my late husband when we visited New York from California in 2003 and took us on their boat to see the Statue of Liberty. Joe was a warm, funny and generous man and my heart goes out to Barbara for losing him so soon.
