Joseph Siminsky

Yonkers - Joseph P. Siminsky, 63, passed away suddenly on September 16, 2018. A lifetime Yonkers resident, he attended Sacred Heart High School and graduated from Pace University. He was employed as a real estate appraiser for the past 20 years at Lane Appraisal in Larchmont, NY. He attended St. Casimir's church where he was a lector for over 50 years. Joseph was born on October 29, 1954 to Alice and the late Joseph Siminsky. Cherished brother of Janet (Joseph) Ribeiro, and Karen (Michael) Franovic. Dear uncle of Christopher Ribeiro, Brian Ribeiro, David Ribeiro, Michael Franovic, Matthew Franovic and five grand nieces and nephews. Joseph loved spending time with his family, including annual vacations at the Jersey Shore. He supported his nephews' by attending baseball, soccer and basketball games and helping out with science and wood working projects. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Ave. on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral mass at St. Casimir's Church on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association.
