Weigman, Joseph Mark

Joseph Mark Weigman, 60, of Camby, IN passed away on May 28, 2012 in Mooresville, IN. He was born September 1st 1951 in Louisville, KY to the late Joseph Martin Weigman and Marie Ilardo Weigman. A former resident of Ossining, Mark was a 1969 graduate of Croton-Harmon High and 1973 graduate of Cornell University where he majored in Mechanical Engineering. He moved to Indianapolis in September of 1984 to work for Allison Turbine and stayed with the company through its acquisition by Rolls Royce, where he finished his career as a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist. Mark was a longtime parishioner at St. Thomas More Church in Mooresville, where he was noted for his volunteer work. He was a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Council 7431, and a Past Grand Knight.

Mark is survived by two brothers, Stewart Matthew of London, England, and Brice Martin of Belfast, NY; one sister, Christina Browning of Ridgefield, CT; eight nieces and nephews, Sarah Weigman of VA, Emma and Clare Weigman of NY, Alex and Andrew Weigman of NY, and Tess, Caspar and Sophie Browning of CT. Brother Eric Mitchell Weigman predeceased him.

Memorial Service at St. Thomas More Church in Mooresville 6/2/12. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to crs.org (click celebration gifts) or salvationarmyindiana.org.
