Ormsby, Julia Marie

Julia Marie Ormsby of Croton on Hudson, NY passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the age of 80. Julia was born to Patrick and Anna (Looscan) Skehill on May 26, 1936 in New York, NY. Julia was a member of the Croton Seniors and Holy Name of Mary Church.

Julia was the beloved wife of William A. Ormsby who predeceased her, cherished mother of William P. (Barbara) Ormsby, Ann Marie (Philip) Livecchi, Christopher (Karen) Ormsby, and Patricia (Daniel) Ormsby-O'Shea, and adored grandmother of Danielle, Philip, Christian, Grace and Fintan. Julia was also predeceased by her brothers Patrick, Charles and Thomas Skehill.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 4-8PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY 10548. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 10, 2016, 10AM at Holy Name of Mary Church, Croton on Hudson, NY with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Julia's name to the Croton Caring Committee.
