JULIA SMITH Obituary

SMITH, JULIA J. Julia J. Smith of Garnerville, NY, died September 2, 2005. She was 77 years old. Mrs. Smith worked as an aide for Haverstraw Transit in Haverstraw, NY. Mrs. Smith was born on November 30, 1927 in Thiells, NY, to Joseph and Julia Stoll. She was a graduate of Haverstraw High School. Mrs. Smith was a lifelong resident of Garnerville, NY. Locally she was a member of the Thiells United Methodist Church. She also worked as a ward clerk at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw, NY. She is survived by two sons and their wives ; Joseph and Molly Smith of Garnerville, NY, Richard and Patricia Smith of West Haverstraw, NY, six sisters; Emilie Emerick, Dorothy Styles, Carolyn Curnow, Jean Lodini, Virginia Holt, and Rita Lindsell., three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Family members who died earlier include her husband; Belding S. Smith, and a sister, Gertrude Morano. Calling hours are 7 to 9 PM, Sunday and 2 to 4 PM on Monday, at A.W. Dutcher's Sons Funeral Home, Inc, 18 Lincoln Street, Haverstraw, NY. The Funeral is Tuesday, September 6, 2005, 10:30 AM, at A. W. Dutcher's Sons Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow at Mt. Repose Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY. Arrangements by: A. W. DUTCHER'S SONS FUNERAL HOME 18 Lincoln Street Haverstraw (845) 429-2117
