LYSLE CERF Obituary

Lysle Cerf, a resident of Sloatsburg, NY, formerly of Ridgewood, NJ for 51 years died December 11, 2007 at the age of 94. Before retiring in 1984, he had employed as general manager of Penn Cork & Closures, Inc. for 26 years. He served in the US Army as 1st lieutenant for 3 years during WWII. He is survived by three sons, Brian P. Cerf and his wife Geraldine of Lamy, New Mexico, Dr John L. Cerf and his wife Noelle,of Ramsey, NJ, Dr. Dean J. Cerf and his wife Carole of Saddle River, NJ; two daughters, Bonnie Michelle and her husband Sheriff James Kralik of Sloatsburg, NY, and Gail Cerf and her fiancé James Nelson of Holiday, FL, 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and his ex wife Norma Masterson as well as his two adored pets, Candy and Abbey. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Beatrice Cerf, and one sister Hortense "Billie" Irwin. Lysle was a loving father who worked very hard to support the family that he so enjoyed. Lysle's Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Scarr Funeral Home Inc., Route 202, Suffern. Friends and relatives are invited on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Donations to Wounded Warriors, 7020 AC Skinner Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32256 would be appreciated.
