Madeline Allison Obituary
Toms River, NJ - Madeline "Mickey" Allison, 87, of Toms River, NJ, formerly of Pearl River, NY, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ. She was born in Manhattan, NY to Frank and Marie Garing on February 15, 1931.
Mickey retired from the Pearl River school district in 1995 and moved to the Lake Ridge community in Toms River shortly after, where she was very active in many clubs.
She will be dearly missed by her loving family and many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband William of 52 years, her daughter Ellen, and long time companion Freddy LaPilusa.
Surviving are her two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill (Donna) of Pearl River, N.Y., and Keith of Pearl River, N.Y.; two grandsons , Billy( Kerri), and Jeffrey; her most precious great-grandson Hunter, and her stepbrother-in-law Butch Hensel of Chicago, IL.
A visitation for Madeline will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 6, 2018, 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 43 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Interment to immediately follow at William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
