MARIA COLOMBINO Obituary

Maria Colombino (nee Crescenzo) of Yonkers died on Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at age 66. Born on July 9, 1936 to Angelo and Dominica Crescenzo in Italy. She had been a Yonkers resident for over 30 years. Mrs. Colombino was a self-employed seamstress at her company, A & V Dress Corp. in the Bronx for over 30 years, retiring in 1988. On March 12, 1955 she married Frank Colombino in Italy, he survives, living in Yonkers. She was a parishioner of St. Ann's Church and member with Solarno Edamici. Besides her husband Frank, Maria is survived by her two sons Andrew and his wife Margaret of Springhill, FL and Vincent and his wife Stacey of Yonkers. She is also survived by her four grandchildren Andrew, Frank Joseph, Vincent and Nicholas, her brothers Albino Crescenzo of Florence, Italy and Claudio Crescenzo of Putnam Valley and her sister Anna Bucci of Philadelphia. She was predeceased by Grace Olivia, Italia Rutigliano and Sam Crescenzo. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday only, February 18th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church on Wednesday, February 19th at 9:30 am. Entombment Ferncliff Mausoleum.
