MARION SIRABELLA Obituary

Marion A. Sirabella, 74, of Eastchester, died at home after a long, courageous battle with Ovarian cancer on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. She was born to Mario and Mary Cimmino on April 10, 1933 in Mt. Vernon, NY. She graduated from AB Davis High School. Marion held a position as Assistant Manager at The Manhattan Savings Bank in Eastchester, retiring in 1991. Marion was a loving and wonderful woman, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a supporter of all who were lucky enough to be a part of her life. When she entered a room, her smile always came first. Life to Marion was "wonderful". Her biggest pleasure in life was being a large part of her grandchildren's life. Her joys in life were taking care of her family, cooking, and having Sunday dinners. She was a wonderful person and will forever be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will always be remembered as a compassionate, caring person with a huge heart. She leaves a great void in her family's hearts. Marion is survived by her loving and devoted husband of almost 50 years, Anthony (Tony) Sirabella; her children, Joanne Lederer and her husband, Chuck, and John Sirabella and his wife, Lisa. Grandchildren, Matthew and Melissa Lederer and Christina and Alexandra Sirabella, all of Eastchester. Also survived by her brothers, Robert Cimmino and his wife, Pat, and Paul Cimmino and his wife, Angela. Marion was the aunt of five nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews.
