MARTIN TELESMANICH Obituary

Martin Telesmanich, a White Plains resident, died June 3, 2004. He was 80. He was born October 30, 1923 in Olib, Croatia to Ivan and Dumica Telesmanich. On April 23, 1947, he married Jelka Brajac. Martin came to the U.S. in 1968 and was a superintendent in White Plains from 1973 to 1993, when he retired. Besides his wife, Jelka, he is survived by his children: Grozdana Batistic of Jackson Heights; Marin Telesmanich, Miljenka Telesmanich, Milan Telesmanich and Bobby Telesmanich, all of White Plains. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Tyler, Melanie, Victoria and Snjezana and great-grandchildren: Anjelica and Anthony. He is predeceased by two children: Ivan and Vinka. Visiting hours will be Sunday 4-8 pm. Interment will take place in Croatia. MCMAHON, LYON & HARTNETT FUNERAL HOME 491 Mamaroneck Avenue White Plains (914)949-7777
