Our sincerest sympathy to the family of a dear lady. I first met Mamie when I was 11 years old in Fermoy hospital with an
Aappendix operation. Rushed in by ambulance & very much a alone, wheeled into (theatre) big lights & quiet. I felt a hand touch mine checking my name, she leaned over & said are you Neville from Dromtariffe I said yes.
Oh how relieved I was to hear her say
I am Mamie Lucy from back the road & I will be with you & take care of you. God Bless you dear Mamie. You took care of me. Ever grateful.
