Mary Cornetta Obituary
Mary Pietrantonio Cornetta (Nan), 97, of Upper Nyack, NY died peacefully on May 9, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in Piermont, NY on December 3, 1917 to Carmine and Theresa Pagnozzi.
Mary married Nicholas Pietrantonio, who preceded her in death on September 2, 1968. She then married Anthony Cornetta, who also preceded her in death on July 4, 1981.
Mary is survived by her son Donald Pietro; her daughter, Karen Gebbia and her husband Guy; her three sisters, Ann, Rose, and Antoinette; five grandchildren, Deborah, Dana, Guy, Vanessa, and Amanda; three great-grandchildren, Zack, Savannah, and Lilah, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's RC Church in Nyack.
Donations may be made in Mary's name to United Hospice of Rockland County, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956 (845) 634-4974.
