Mary Delaney Obituary
Mary E. Delaney (Phalen), a lifetime Yonkers resident, died peacefully on April 5, 2014 at the age of 97. Mary attended St. Mary's Grammer School and Commerce HS and was a devoted and longtime parishioner of St. Mary's Church. Beloved wife of the late William J. Delaney. Devoted mother of Mary Ann (Richard) Halevy, Michael (Martina) Delaney, Patrick Delaney and Daniel (Marie) Delaney and the late William A. Loving mother in law of the late Doreen Delaney. Cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 16. Loving sister of Georgie (William) Alesio and Millie Bova and sister in law of Gloria Phalen. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. on Tuesday from 2-8pm. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church on Wednesday at 10:00 am. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetary.
