Mary Joyce Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ellen Joyce on March 30, 2013. Mary Ellen was the Founder/Chairman of Prudential Joyce Realty, Founder of the People's Council, long time Pearl River resident, business owner and philanthropist. She was 72.
Mary Ellen was born November 19, 1940 in Newburgh, NY to Michael & Katherine (Downing) Quinn who predeceased her.
She was educated in the Bronx, NY and graduated from Saint Jerome's and Aquinas High School.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Martin, her cherished sons, Kevin & Francis, her treasured grandchildren, Colin, Julianna and Aiden. Her brothers William (Marie), James (Helen) and her sister Ann also survive her as well as many loving sisters & brothers- in-law, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Thursday, April 4, at Wyman-Fisher from 2-5 & 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am on Friday at St. Margaret of Antioch Church. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers friends may send donations to The Joe Raso Hospice Residence, 415 Buena Vista Road, New City, NY 10956 or the Andy K and Friends Foundation 271 Townline Road, West Nyack, NY 10994.
