William Calvert Obituary
PELZER, SC-- William "Bill" Earl Calvert, 73, husband of Susan Davenport Calvert, of 129 Painter Road, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at his home.
Born in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Jessie Homer and Cora Lee Calvert. He retired from Fluor Daniel.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Heather Lashae Calvert of the home; son, William Travis Calvert; sisters, Myrtle Hughes of Cross Anchor, Edna Lemons of Mountville; brothers, Jessie "Bootie" Calvert of Laurens, Robert Calvert of Clinton, the Rev. Aulbrey Calvert of Union; aunt, Willie Mae Knighton of Duncan; and uncle, Fate Calvert and his wife Thelma of Campobello.
He was predeceased by a sister, Frances Morgan; and a brother, Melvin Calvert.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 10, 2008, at the Startex Church of God by the Rev. Aulbrey Calvert and Mr. Dale Calvert.
