Maureen Zificsak Obituary
Elmsford - Maureen S. Zificsak 70, of Elmsford, N.Y. and formerly of White Plains, N.Y. died on Feb. 9, 2019. She was born on Oct. 2, 1948 to John and Alice (nee Mitchell) Hanlon in NYC. She was a retired Senior Activities Director with the Town of Mt. Pleasant Recreation Department. Maureen was predeceased by her devoted husband, John W. Zificsak in 2017 and also her brother, Richard Hanlon. She is survived by her loving son, William (Will) (Rhea) Zificsak of Mt. Vernon, N.Y. and her devoted mother Alice Hanlon of CT. and sister in law, Jeanette Hanlon. Also survived by her beautiful and cherished granddaughter, Jessie Rose Zificsak. Visiting at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, 3-7 PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations to Ronald McDonald House of CT. 860 Howard Ave. New Haven, CT 06519, would be appreciated.
