Michael Altobello Obituary
Michael J. Altobello of Stony Point passes away suddenly on Tuesday October 16 at home. He was 57. Michael was born in Dayton, Ohio to James and Barbara (Jennings) Altobello. He was currently operating a bread route for Freihofer-Arnold Bread Company. Although the depot was based in Rockland County Michael operated his route in New Jersey. Michael loved sports and was a diehard Red Sox and Patriots Fan. He loved spending time with his granddaughters and was a lover of animals.
Michael is survived by his wife of 20 years, Joanne; a daughter Kimberly Dunkel and her husband Michael of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY; a son Craig Resta of Middletown, NY; granddaughters Haley, Carley, Jenna, Molly, Addison, Emily; brothers Donald, Robert, Charles; a sister Susan and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his father James.
Family and friends may visit Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm at the T.J. McGowan Sons FH GARNERVILLE. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday October 21, 2012 at 8pm in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Warren Brandt officiating. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in his memory to the Hi-Tor Animal Care Cntr. 65 Firemen's Memorial Dr. Pomona, NY 10970.
