Leiningen, Millena

Millena Manov Leiningen, 53, of White Plains, died November 20, 2015 at Greenwich Hospital. Born on August 22, 1962 in Sofia, Bulgaria, she was the daughter of Elly Nedeva Manov and the late Vladimir Manov. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Cornell University. She achieved every young girl's dream of winning the Miss New Jersey Pageant and marrying a prince, her former husband Boris Leiningen. She then achieved every woman's dream of having a successful business career. Working for Prudential Home Mortgage, GE, First USA, and Master Card, where she held the title of Vice President. Later she worked as a Real Estate agent for William Raveis where she was a top producer, and Houlihan Lawrence. In the little spare time she had, she helped rescue cats. In addition to her mother, Millena is survived by the light of her life, her son, Nicholas Alexander Leiningen. A memorial service will be held on Monday December 7, 2015 at 6:30 P.M. in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit at Sacred Heart University, 5151 Park Ave. Fairfield, CT Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA PO Box 96929 Washington, DC 20090-6929 or an animal charity of one's choice.

Millena was best friend to my niece Kimberly Marcus Gleit.
I have known her since she and Kimberly were little girls.

I just heard the terrible news. Millena was a kind, beautiful person and I'm so sorry for you loss. I wasn't aware she was sick and I am shocked by this.
