Nancy Fontana Obituary
After a long and courageous fight, Nancy lost her battle. Born 6/13/1965 to Richard and Dolores Rodstrom formerly of City Island. Nancy was the mother of Sabrina and Samantha and wife of Cory Fontana. We lost the love of our lives .. Nancy was the most amazing and giving person. Owner of a family business Fontana Bridal Salon, she helped put smiles on thousands of brides for over 30 years. Nancy touched the lives of everyone she came across.
Service will be Thursday, June 9th at St Mary's Star of the Sea Church at 10am 591 City Island Ave, Bronx, NY 10464.

My dear sister Nancy you will be missed by many ! I will miss that smile and the way you did everything with gusto ! Heaven just got one hell of a party planner !! When we were kids we were inseparable and as adults we were still close and even when we didn't see each other for periods of time when we got together it was like we had just spoken the day before. I will see you on the other side!

their are no words to express how sad I feel for Nancy, Cory and the girls. no words can ever make these days and years to come any less painful. It is like yesterday that I can hear her with her up voice talking. I see she was well loved by so many and many had the pleasure of meeting her on what is the most important day for a bride.
Please be strong and literally lean on God and ask him to walk by your side. count on your family and friends to care for you as this is a time to not be alone in sorrow. I know you will get through this just give your self a lot of time.
