Not sure what to say?

It is summer 2019. I do not run into many of former colleagues since changed service area. But today met with a former BX. VNSNY associate We were catching up on other former colleagues and was told the news . and maybe stopped breathing there in that moment.
Spent many work hours with Ms. Rico.
She left an indelible mark on my life.
Ms. Rico loved her daughter and the life she had mutually with her spouse.
God speed. Ms. Rico.
From what I hear , the afterlife is kinda awesome
It's so good nobody comes back to complain NN

Nancy was one of the first people I met when I started working at the Allen Pavilion as a social worker in 1990. She had a way of being able to help me appreciate how social work and nursing can work together. I remember how excited she was about having Alex, and about moving to her own home. She even hosted a housewarming for those of us from Allen. So sad how she died. My condolences to her family.

Very sad to learn of Nancy's passing. I worked out with her at Premier and Visions gyms. She was a terrific athlete. What a tragic ending to a beautiful person - body and soul. I will miss seeing her at the gym. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

My sincere condolences to the Rico and McKay families on the tragic loss of your beloved Nancy. I worked with Nancy at the Allen Pavilion many years ago and I have wonderful memories of our friendship during that time.
Hopefully your wonderful memories of this very special person will be with you forever

My name is also Nancy, and Nancy and I were good friends when she was involved with her friends in Pelham. I vividly remember how excited she was when she found out she was pregnant with Alex. She and I lost touch when she left lower Westchester. The last time that I saw her was at a party she threw in her new home in Bardonia. One always thinks one will reconnect, and we never did. Sad, and so very tragic. Day at a time my friend. Rest in peace.

Dear Rico/McKay Family,
I had the privilege of working with Nancy at the Allen Pavilion. She was a professional to the core and so helpful in dealing with difficult situations. She was a kind friend. My condolences to her husband, Alex, her siblings and the rest of her family. Best, Lois Griff

Nancy we will miss you, you have been a life long friend. From the days when you me and Robert were too young to do any thing but play in front of the building we lived in. You even taught me how to drive. As best as I can I will watch out for those close both to us. God Bless you.

My deepest sympathy at this tragic time. I worked many years with Nancy, she was a friend and colleague, who I respected and consulted with often. She spoke often of family , her dogs and the latest exercise class she was taking. Will remember her fondly.
My condolences

Simply heartbreaking. My deepest condolences to Nancy's family. Nancy was one of my favorite people to work with --ever. Her intelligence and quirky sense of humor will be dearly missed. A light has gone out in the world.

I was so sad to learn the terrible news..life is so unfair. I worked with Nancy for many years at a NYC hospital and always found her to be a very decent, kind and hard working individual who earned the respect and admiration of those she worked with. My deepest condolences to her family, friends and co-workers.
