NICHOLAS DELLAERO Obituary

Nicholas A. Dellaero, 92, of Orange, CT - formerly of Bedford Hills, NY died on October 15, 2009 at Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven, CT, born on October 9, 1917 in Mt. Kisco, NY the son of the late Joseph and Rose Dellaero. He was a Transportation Coordinator and worked for Reader's Digest in Pleasantville, NY. He was a veteran in the Army and served in WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife Zewita Ingegneri Dellaero of Orange, CT, beloved father of Linda Mickowski (husband Edmond) of Orange, CT, and June Dellaero of Oakland, CA, devoted grandfather of Laura Mickowski of Stamford, CT, Nicholas Mickowski of Orange, CT, Nicholas Rosenthal of Los Angeles, CA, dear brother of Katherine Sbordone of Westfield, NJ, Mary Bambace of Mt. Kisco, NY and predeceased by three brothers Joseph, Frank, and Andrew Dellaero. The family will receive friends at the CLARK ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME, 4 Woods Bridge Road Katonah, NY on Monday, October 19, 2-6PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Clark Associates Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 20 at 11:00AM. Interment will be St. Francis Cemetery, Mt. Kisco, NY.
