OLDEN C. HICKMAN JR.

Olden C. Hickman, Jr. departed this life May 7, 2007 at the age of 79 after a brief illness at the Westchester Medical Center. Born December 7, 1927 to the late Olden C. and Sidney Smith Hickman, in Topeka, Kansas, where he received his education. Olden enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving a tour of duty in Korea. He received a honorable discharge and returned to Topeka briefly. He then moved to White Plains, NY, where he was employed with RH Macy's for over 40 years, until his retirement. Olden loved the game of golf, playing in many tournaments and enjoying the moment. To cherish his memories his wife Ernestine, son Kenneth of Herndon, VA, sister Anna Bordeaux of Santa Ana, California, sister in law, Hattie Seward, White Plains, NY and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Also predeceased in death by three sisters, Bessie Wilson, June Quarles, Aline Jenkins and one brother, Marvin Hickman Memorial at a later date.
