Patrick Pagnani Obituary

Pagnani Sr., Esq., Patrick J.

passed away on Saturday, Sept 3rd, 2011 at the age of 83. Mr. Pagnani was born on Dec 14, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY to Salvatore and Marianna Pagnani. He graduated from Grover Cleveland High School, attended City College and graduated from Brooklyn Law School after returning from service in Japan during the post-WWII Occupation. Mr. Pagnani originally practiced law privately in Brooklyn and went on to work as an ADA for the Brooklyn District Attorney's office. In the early 1960's, he went on to work for the Supreme Court of NY in Kings County till his retirement in 1994. He was married to his beloved wife Dorothy, who passed away in 2002, for 50 years and they had 5 children. They lived in Ridgewood, NY, prior to moving to Rye Brook where they lived with their family for the past 42 years. Patrick was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church. He is the father of Marianna (Peter), Sal (Mary Anne), Patrick Jr. (Alyssa), Frank and Til (Phil). He was a loving grandfather to Kerrie (Nick), Patty, Matt, Liz, Theresa, Colleen, PJ, Kris, and Kim and the Great-Grandfather of Kaylee. He is also survived by his sister Tillie, brother Fred, many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his Parents, sister Annette, brother Daniel, brothers-in-law Bill, Robert, and Frank. He will always be remembered in our hearts and prayers. Calling hours are Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 5-9pm at Gunipero-Farenga Funeral Home, 353 Westchester Ave, Port Chester, NY 10573. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am in Our Lady of Mercy Church on Thursday, Sept 8th. Entombment will follow at St Mary's Cemetery (Rye Brook).
