Kissel, Paul F.

Paul F. Kissel of Wesley Hills, NY passed away December 25, 2012. Paul was born in New York, NY to Irving and Violet Kissel, on May 13, 1932. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Rosalind Solomon. Paul is survived by his wife Ruth, his sister Syril Sedlacek, his son Marc and wife Kerrin of Suffern, his son Edward and wife Amalia of Boca Raton, Florida, four granddaughters, Alyssa, Sarah, Melina and Kiara Kissel, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was an educator in the East Ramapo Central School District, retiring as the Assistant Principal of Eldorado School. Paul, a Korean War Combat Veteran, was a graduate of George Washington High School and earned a B.S. degree from City College, an M.S. from NYU, and a School Administrator Certificate from Hunter College.

The family will receive visitors at SCARR FUNERAL HOME INC Route 202 Suffern, NY on Thursday from 7-9p. m. and Friday from 9-10a.m., followed by a burial at the Brick Church Cemetery in Monsey, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the JCCY of Rockland, West Nyack, NY or to the Hudson Valley Humane Society, 200 Quaker Road, Pomona, NY.

I moved to villa in 1987 Paul was welcoming warm so friendly and helpful it was an honor to live across from Paul and family for many years
Paul is still missed here on Villa ln because who doesn´t want to great a kind smart energetic friend who regaled us with stories and taught us how to be the best neighbor we could be
