Peter Bianco Obituary
Peter Bianco, a longtime resident of Yonkers, passed away on July 18, 2017. He was 92 years old. Born in the Bronx to the late Peter and Jennie Negri Bianco. Beloved husband of Angela "Ann" Birago Bianco. Pete and Ann were blessed to have spent 68 years in a beautiful, loving marriage. Loving father of Jeanette (Tom) Melillo and Valerie (Rick) Ricca. Adored grandfather of Tommy and James Melillo, Melissa Celio and Danielle Caloia. Great grandfather of Nicholas, Ryan, Michael and Aria. Pete was pre deceased by two brothers and two sisters. Mr. Bianco was an oil burner service mechanic for Petro Oil Co. and a US Navy sailor during WWII, for which he was extremely proud. He was a member of the Maggiacomo Lodge and a parishioner and usher at St. Ann's Church for many years. His hobbies included horse racing and going to the casinos. He held a very dear spot in his heart for his family, friends and country. All of whom he was very proud of. Donations preferred to St. Ann's Church, 854 Midland Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704. Arrangements entrusted to FLOWER FUNERAL HOME INC., 714 Yonkers Ave., with visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass Monday 11:00 am at St. Ann's Church with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. www.FlowerFH.com.
