RAYMOND WEINBERG Obituary

Raymond R. Weinberg, 67 of N.Fort Myers, Florida passed away on September 29,2009. Born December 19,1941 to Joseph and Rose Weinberg of Manhattan, NY. He lived most of his life in Monsey and Suffern, NY. He took great pride in helping others and served as a volunteer fireman for 48 yrs. He was a member of the Brewer Fire Engine Co. #1, Chief 1981-1983, served 10 yrs on the Board of Fire Commissioners. Also he was a member of the Rockland Co. Vol.Firemen's Assoc. and N.Y.S. Assoc. of Fire Chiefs. Upon moving to N.Fort Myers he joined the N.Fort Myers Elks Lodge #2742 and served on the Veteran's Committee. He is survived by his wife Donna of over 44yrs, son Raymond U.S. Army Fort Hood,TX, daughter Denise of Hawthorne, N.J., brother Eugene Weinberg and his wife Nancy, nieces Kate and Maggie Weinberg. The family requests that any donations be made to Hope Hospice House of Cape Coral, 2430 Diplomat Pkwy E, Cape Coral, Fl 33909. www.hopehospice.org
