RICHARD AMEN

Richard Amen a 50 year resident of Pelham Manor, NY died December 2, 2001 at his home. He was 83. Mr. Amen was born in New York. He attended St. John's University earning a BA and J.D. degrees. Mr. Amen served in the Navy during World War II as a lieutenant. He served in several major engagements in the South Pacific aboard the USS Bunker Hill. He was married to Bianca R. Amen who predeceased him. He is survived by two sons Richard Amen and Robert M. Amen, a daughter Adriana A. Bonifer and nine grandchildren. Calling hours are Monday, December 3, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Pelham Funeral Home. The funeral is Tuesday 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Pelham Manor.
