RICHARD CALVELLI Obituary

Richard A. Calvelli Sr.; Oro Valley, AZ: Long time Suffern resident, age 70 passed away on March 24, 2010 after a second valiant battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his parents Alice Basch and Alexander Calvelli and his siblings, Alexandra Calvelli/Murphy, Candice Calvelli/Baird and Joseph Calvelli. Richard is survived by his wife Kimberlee, his children Pamela Calvelli-Lopez, Maria Calvelli, Paula Calvelli, Richard (Paulette) Calvelli Jr., and Alexander Calvelli. He is also survived by his grandchildren Taylor, Shannon, Jordan, Kendall and Madison Thorpe, Joseph and Christian Zannetti and Nicolas Calvelli; great-granddaughter Ava Thorpe; sister Lisa Calvelli (Jim) Meyer, Kathleen Calvelli-Crow; nieces Katie and Meg Calvelli and Jessica Meyer; nephews Samuel "Trip" (Angela) Baird and Paul Meyer and many cousins and friends. Richard was retired from a very successful career in advertising and will be remembered as a creative and innovative force in that industry. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday April 3, 2010 at the Water Wheel restaurant in Tallman, NY between1:00 - 5:00pm. Visiting hours Monday 11:30 am - 12:30 p.m. at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S113 Farview Avenue, Paramus. A graveside service will take place at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ on Monday April 5, 2010 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made in Richard's name to Casa de la Luz Hospice, Tucson AZ www.casahospice.com. For Further information www.vanderplaat.com
