RICHARD REDLON Obituary

Richard (Dick) Henry Redlon, Sr., a longtime resident of Mahopac, passed away Friday, August 4, 2006. He was 77. Born on February 20, 1929 in West Buxton, Maine, he was the son of Eugene Redlon and Elizabeth Chamberlain Redlon. Richard was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ethel (nee Maddeford) whom he married on January 26, 1957. He was also predeceased by his son, Eugene Redlon. Dick was a graduate of Mahopac High School and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was self employed as an Electrical Contractor with Redlon Electric for over 20 years. He was later employed by the NYS Board of Fire Underwriters as Putnam County Electrical Inspector until his retirement in 1995. He is survived by his children Kelly (Michael) Whalen, Richard (Joan) Redlon, Jr., Lisa Asmodeo and Sheila (Robert) Walde. He was also a loving grandfather of eleven and great grandfather of one. Family and friends may call at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home today, (Sunday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Mass Monday, 9:45 AM at St. John The Evangelist Church (Mahopac).
